When can I submit my application?

Full proposals can be submitted to cut-offs specified in the EIC Work Programme. A short proposal precedes the full proposal. Short proposals can be submitted at any time.

The application and evaluation process of the EIC Accelerator consists of three steps and is described in detail here. Details on submission can be found here.

Short proposal (step 1)

Short proposals can be submitted continuously. Before you start preparing a short application, we recommend that you use our checklist to make sure the EIC Accelerator is the right funding instrument for your company and your innovation.

Short applications are accepted until the first Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. and then evaluated. Applicants will be informed of the results within 4 to 6 weeks of the start of the assessment.

Full application (step 2)

If you receive a GO on your short proposal, you will be invited to submit a full proposal. For short proposals submitted in 2024, the full proposal must be submitted to one of the two cut-offs in 2025. For short proposals submitted in 2025, it is possible to submit the full proposal to one of the two cut-offs in 2025 or to the 2026 cut-offs. If required, a Business Acceleration Services funded coach will assist with the preparation of the full proposal.

The cut-offs for submitting full proposals in the EIC Accelerator in 2025:

12 March 2025

EIC Accelerator Open

EIC Accelerator Challenges

1 October 2025

EIC Accelerator Open

EIC Accelerator Challenges

Interview (step 3)

If the full proposal is successful, you will be invited to a pitch interview. The European Commission's calls for proposals, including the cut-offs, can also be found here.
